Non-Prescription Vitamin C Maximum Dosages

Please note the 1 and 3 gram Vita Basic IV infusions are entry level / new user / maintenance dosages. Effects are subtle, generally producing increased energy and cognition. Rarely are Herxing effects produced at this level. If resulting effects are low, then the patient may advance to higher prescribed levels, as seen below, by prescription.

5 gr (5000 mg) = 45-60 minutes
10 gr (10,000 mg) = 45-60 minutes

These effects tend to be more prominent in first time users, or with those who take large doses too fast. During the IV session

Within 1-4 hours after completion of IV Therapy
In the event of planned or resultant detox, the patient may on rare occasion experience low-grade fever, digestive distress, or dull headache or general aching. Remember that the body bakes out pathogens with heat or fever – body language, your body is telling you therapy is working. Drink a lot of water, get some light exercise, if possible.
Evening after IV Therapy
On rare occasion, the patient may experience cold sweats during sleep, which indicates the body is eliminating toxins that were liberated from skin layers and the circulatory system. This is a very good Herxing reaction, meaning immunities are strong and the body is healing. We are stimulating your body to heal itself, a methodology that is fully suppressed in modern medicine that instead mandates suppression rather than healing.

Next day after completion of IV Therapy
Especially in the case of high-dose IVs, patients may find they need to sleep a little more during the following 24-36 hours. The body only heals during deep sleep and rest. The patient may experience increased urination or other eliminations.
First and second days after completion of IV Therapy
Patients usually begin to fully experience the benefits of IV therapy by now, which mainly include increased cognition and energy, better immune response and sleep, skin improvement, and often a decrease in cravings or addictions.
IMPORTANT: We strongly suggest:
1) The patient eat a meal soon before an IV infusion (avoid sugar), and soon again thereafter.
2) The IV be taken slowly for stronger effect and to lessen Herxing.
3) Try to rest or sleep during the infusion, the body only heals during deep rest.
