NAD A+ Holistic Treatment for...
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is a coenzyme found in every cell in the body. It balances metabolism and hormonal activity, restores tissue damage, improves brain function, increases energy, and acts as a natural antidepressant. NAD is a derivative of Niacin (Vitamin B3). NAD and Niacin are unrelated to nicotine.
NAD A+ Adjuvants intravenous (IV) treatment (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide + adjuvants) is a healthy alternative to pharmaceutical medications for a variety of recovery or enhancement treatments. NAD A+ stimulates the body to replace and balance depleted vitamins and minerals, and increase natural defenses to detox the body of artificial chemicals so it can heal. It greatly helps to repair and restore the body from damages and stressors, and also helps counter depression and mood-swings.
Adjuvants included with NAD A+ Therapy can include natural oral supplements, oral tonics, and a wide variety of additional IV ingredients, all of which serve to increase native NAD long-term production and stability.
Most importantly, NAD A+ Therapy reduces non-beneficial cravings. Unlike most pharmaceutical treatment options, there are no harmful side effects associated with NAD A+ treatment.
NAD A+ Adjuvants Treatment System
NAD A+ Adjuvants Therapy is administered by slow IV drip, over a period of 2 – 5 or more hours each time, generally once each 2- 7 days – varies per prescription and individual needs. IV therapy allows NAD A+ to go directly to the brain, where it binds with opioid receptors as the NAD A+ healing coenzyme flows through the vascular system into the nervous system and brain. During treatment, the patient may use a hand phone, read a good book, or most preferably, we encourage sleep and rest. The body only heals during deep sleep and rest.
The more advanced NAD A+ Adjuvants Therapy at BSI differs from NAD+ IV Therapy in that the body is stimulated to produce precursors and balanced hormones, rather than the singular supplementation of NAD+ IV, which over a short time can cause the body to reduce native NAD and the precursors needed for balanced NAD production… We want to heal the body, make it produce NAD and all related functions for the long term.
After the initial series of NAD+ treatments, many patients return for occasional NAD+ maintenance boosters.
Please note that full Level 2 testing and analysis, with blood and urine testing are required, in order to determine reasons as well as proper prescription for NAD+ Therapy. We must determine if the body is well able to benefit and tolerate intensive NAD+ therapy. Please see information here about the BSI Signature Holistic Health Reset & Detox – Testing, Diagnostics & Custom Prescribed Treatment. NAD+ therapy can be received concurrently with the Detox, making for the best possible outcome in the shortest time.
NAD A+ Treatment for Recovery From Addiction
NAD A+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide + adjuvants) is especially helpful for those addicted to alcohol, nicotine, and opioid drugs. It binds to opioid receptors and reduces the symptoms of withdrawal. It causes the body to replace the vitamins and minerals which have been depleted from substance abuse. Benefits of NAD A+ treatment as part of a holistic recovery strategy include…
- Fewer withdrawal symptoms
- Improved cognitive function
- Cellular restoration
- Better metabolic function
- Antidepressant
- More energy
- Reduced cravings
Dealing with addiction is rarely easy, whether it be something simple such as sugar (refined white sugar is processed the same way as heroin, and is actually more addictive), or more complicated such as alcohol (alcohol is the most refined form of sugar, hits the brain in 6 seconds). Opiates can be a little easier though, if protocol is followed, and the patient has willingness to proceed.
It is often recommended that NAD A+ Therapy be combined with addiction counseling and / or participation in a recovery program such as a 12-step group. Sometimes psychotherapy is needed to deal with issues such as mental illness, family dysfunction or PTSD. However, with the help of NAD A+, you can stop using the toxic substance(s) and deal with any other issues you have effectively. BSI does not provide psychotherapy at this time, however limited counseling is included.

* NAD A+ Therapy for Improved Mental Focus and Memory
NAD A+ (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide + treatment-specific adjuvants) treatment is beneficial to counter effects of aging, chronic depression and brain dysfunction. Naturally occurring levels of NAD decrease as the body ages. NAD A+ Therapy counters many of the effects of aging which are caused by NAD depletion over time. Overall benefits of NAD A+ Therapy include :
- By promoting synaptic plasticity and enhancing the shape of neurons, NAD augments and maintains neuroplasticity.
- By supporting the energy metabolism in the brain, NAD helps maintain optimal brain function, which can lead to improved focus and concentration.
- Improved mood and overall sense of well being
- NAD aids brain cells in energy production, it nurtures healthy neural connections, leading to improved mental clarity and focus.
- Increased cognitive functioning
- Influences the synthesis of essential neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, and noradrenaline
* NAD A+ Treatment for Increased Energy and Stamina
Human body cell mitochondria are often referred to as the “powerhouses” of the cell, generate adenosine triphosphate or ATP, the molecule that provides energy for cellular processes. ATP is produced through oxidative phosphorylation, which takes place in the mitochondria. This process relies on the presence of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). NAD decreases with age.
In a simpler equation: more NAD = more ATP = more cellular energy = you’ll feel increased energy in your daily activities.
- Increased stamina
- Improved cognitive function
- Reduced fatigue
- Better metabolic function
- Antidepressant
- Helps control cortisol levels, reducing stess
- Helps balance hormones for better mental, emotional and sexual function
* NAD A+ Treatment for Weight Loss
NAD A+ IV Therapy is especially helpful as part of an holistic weight loss treatment. NAD plays a vital role in metabolism by helping convert nutrients into energy the body can use. It does this by acting as a co-factor for several enzymes, that serve to metabolize carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
Intravenous administration of high-dose nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD A+ Therapy) has emerged as a potent therapy for weight management. Extensive research indicates NAD A+ Therapy can enhance mitochondrial function, leading to increased energy expenditure and improved metabolism.
- Improves glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity
- Increases the expression of genes involved in fat burning and decreased the expression of genes involved in fat storage
- Increases the production of mitochondria and improved metabolic function in overweight and obese humans
- Improves insulin sensitivity, glucose tolerance, and energy expenditure
- Helps regulate the body’s circadian rhythm, the internal biological clock that controls the timing of many physiological processes, including metabolism
- Reduces cravings due to re-balanced hormonal activity in the pituitary gland
It is often recommended that NAD A+ Therapy be combined with counseling. BSI does not provide psychotherapy at this time, however limited peer counseling is included.
* NAD A+ Therapy for Anti-Aging / Youth Preservation
There are numerous therapeutic benefits from intravenous nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) therapy for anti-aging. Native NAD declines with age and thus hinders natural repair mechanisms within cells. Raising intracellular NAD levels is a powerful therapeutic strategy for age-associated degenerative diseases in general and to extend lifespan.
- NAD A+ Therapy with specific adjuvants works in prevention or amelioration of dementia
- Augments cellular restoration
- Slows or helps to heal Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease
- Antidepressant
- Counters age-related muscle weakness
- Helps to alleviate inflammation
- Raising NAD levels has positive effects on different age-related conditions and diseases, including insulin insensitivity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, neurodegeneration, and cancer
- Maintains NAD in the brain’s hormonal control center (the hypothalamus) to preserve skeletal muscle health against frailty during aging
- And much more
Important Dosage Information
Here is a breakdown of typical dosages for NAD A+ IV Therapy * :
Dosage Infusion Time :
0.1 gr (100 mg) = 1,5 hours IV total time (can be taken daily) Rp. 860k
0.25 gr (250 mg) = 2 hours IV total time (can be taken each two days) Rp. 1.460m
0.50 gr (500 mg) = 3 – 4 hours total IV time (can be taken each 4 – 6 days) Rp. 2.460m
1.0 gr (1000 mg) = 4 – 5 hours total IV time (can be taken each 7 days) Rp. 4.460m
* NAD IV only, not including prescribed adjuvants
Generally speaking, between 4 and 10 IVs may be prescribed, depending on needs.
Those who have previously taken NAD IV Therapy may find they are able to take the IV faster. However maximum benefit can be received from a slow IV drip. When taken the first time – especially when taken too fast (you must be patient and take the IV slowly), unneeded, but not dangerous, reactions can sometimes occur.
First time users sometimes experience (or if taken too fast or in combination with caffeine or some drugs):
- Effects, if they occur, on occasion, may start an hour or two after the IV has finished.
- Moderate-to-strong temporary headache, especially in cases of high body toxicity
- Nausea (indicating the liver is eliminating toxins)
- Fatigue (the body heals during rest)
- Brain fog (glucose and oxygen levels are changing in relation to healing effects)
Factors Affecting Dosage
The appropriate dosage of NAD A+ IV therapy can vary due to factors including age, overall health status, specific health conditions, and response to previous NAD A+ treatments.
Younger individuals may require lower doses compared to older adults due to variations in metabolism and overall body function. The severity of the health concern being addressed also impacts the dosage needed; more severe cases may require higher dosages for optimal results.
Additionally, if an individual has undergone previous sessions of NAD IV therapy and has responded well, their subsequent dosages may be adjusted accordingly.
It’s important to note that determining the ideal dosage requires a thorough assessment by a qualified healthcare professional. They will consider these factors and tailor the dosage to each individual to maximize the benefits of NAD A+ IV Therapy.

Occasional Not-Harmful Reactions
of NAD A+ IV Therapy
A rare side effect of IV NAD A+ therapy is muscle tension or ache (if the IV is taken too fast – and the patient is dehydrated). Muscles in the stomach, back, shoulders, legs, and arms can feel sore as if you just did some heavy lifting at a gym. BSI Therapure Nutraceuticals can provide herbal medicines that can help. Mild stretching, heating pads, and essential oils are another remedy to explore.
Imagine a mild wave of pressure rolling over your entire body. For someone who is new to receiving NAD A+ Therapy, the wave can be less than comfortable, but don’t let this deter you from receiving the treatment. The wave lasts for a few brief moments before it subsides.
Patients who decide to push their luck and try to cut down their infusion time by increasing the drip rate will experience a rush. Rapid heart rate, headache, and a jolt of energy followed by a wave of pressure, that can be a very unpleasant feeling. Don’t do this.
It is important to remember that NAD A+ needs to be administered at a slow rate for health benefits. The more obvious reason is to reduce any discomfort one may experience with a rush of NAD A+, but more importantly, NAD A+ is more readily absorbed into the cells at a slower rate. In other words, a slow drip will have more therapeutic benefit.
If the IV is taken too fast, strong, temporary headache can result.
While not everyone has an emotional experience or breakthrough when receiving the therapy, it is still a good idea to have a box of tissues on hand. Congested sinuses and a runny nose often result from the NAD A+. Holistic therapy includes all aspects of the patient’s healing, including emotional, spiritual, physical, mental. Any reactions are usually related to the detox that comes with this therapy.
An increase in appetite can be a hit or miss for most individuals. Some people enjoy snacking during the treatment, whereas some people prefer to fast for the day. Either way, we recommend bringing some healthy, non-sugar snacks (fresh fruit is okay) just in case. Headache or other reactions are less likely too occur if blood glucose is balanced. Addictions are often directly related to sugar consumption.
Proper diet is also of great concern. If consuming addictive foods, such as sugar-filled refined foods, healing will be much more difficult. We recommend a simple diet of whole foods during therapy. So, when combined with a whole foods diet, proper nutrients needed for rebuilding and cleansing of body tissues are provided, addictions are then truly healed. NAD A+ requires proper nutrients, not junk food, to stabilize hormones and the endocrine system.
IMPORTANT: We strongly suggest:
1) The patient eat a meal soon before an IV infusion (avoid sugar), and soon again thereafter.
2) The IV be taken slowly for stronger effect and to lessen Herxing.
3) Try to rest or sleep during the infusion, the body only heals during deep rest.
